Michael Dean is currently in his 5th year of the Architectural Engineering Program at The Pennsylvania State University. In May 2011 he will graduate with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering, with a focus on building mechanical systems.  After graduation, Michael will receive his Engineering in Training (EIT), due to passing the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam in October 2009.

During the past two summers, Michael has had the opportunity to intern with Barry Isett & Associates, a consulting engineering firm, in their MEP department.  Michael has gained valuable knowledge of the HVAC systems through this work experience and enhanced his overall understanding of Mechanical Systems industry.

Outside of school, Michael enjoys many activities.  He is involved with the Penn State Chapter of the Architectural Engineering Institute, and ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers).  He also participates in intramural sports including Flag Football, Soccer, and Basketball.
