User Note: While great efforts have been taken to provide accurate and complete information on the pages of CPEP, please be aware that the information contained herewith is considered a work-in-progress for this thesis project. Modifications and changes related to the original building designs and construction methodologies for this senior thesis project are solely the interpretation of Madison Smith. To complete my Senior Thesis I needed to use much of my knowledge and skills learned at the Pennsylvania State University through the Architectural Engineering program. I had to expand them further than I had for any other project I have worked on before. Besides just the develop of my academic skills, I also gained personal skills that will help me be successful in the industry. I believe that my time management and communication skills have greatly developed through the course of completing this project. Overall, I feel that the Senior Thesis has been a experience that has greatly prepared me for my professional career. |
The CPEP is an excellent tool to use to post and view information about the senior thesis projects; past and current. This site is a good source for industry members, other students, professors, and the public to view the work done over the entire academic year. When beginning the process of designing and laying out the website, a lot of challenges arose. I did not have much experience with website design. After spending a little time with the program, it became relatively easy to navigate and develop a successful website for my senior thesis project. |
