ABET OUTCOME SURVEY:
SENIOR THESIS COURSE REFLECTION: AE 481W and AE 482 provided a valuable educational experience throughout the course of a year-long period of study. During the Fall of 2011, the project was carefully evaluated to understand the logistics of the facility from a technical point of view. The complexities of each issue were used to investigate potential improvements that could be made within the design and construction processes. Four exceptionally problematic areas became the focus of research analyses conducted throughout the Spring of 2012. The ability to personally investigate specific issues permitted me to experience a feel for real-life problem solving scenarios. AE Senior Thesis Capstone added a wealth of knowledge to my personal arsenal, which will certainly be put to use from the start of my career.
CPEP REFLECTION: Senior Thesis E-Portfolio provides an excellent opportunity to display both completed assignments and works in progress. It offers a means of publically exposing thesis research via the internet to anyone that might be interested. CPEP benefits both students and graduates alike. Future employers have the ability to use the e-studio website to view portfolios and see the type of work AE students are capable of and rising seniors are able to use past projects as examples when conducting their own research. The integration of technology into AE Senior Thesis serves as one of its greatest aspects. |
