The Millennium Science Complex, located on The Pennsylvania State University campus in University Park, PA, is a 275,600 square foot, four-level, state-of-the-art research and lab facility.  It is set to house the Huck Institutes of Life Sciences and the Material Sciences, and is scheduled for completion in the summer 2011.  The building’s signature feature is a 150-foot cantilever which extends from the connection of the two wings at the main entrance.  The building also includes several green roofs, which help the project achieve LEED certification.  Additionally, the Millennium Science Complex contains 20,000 square feet of vivarium space, 40,000 square feet of quiet lab space, and 9,500 square feet of nano-clean room space.
