Reflection (ABET Assessment below)

AE 481W/482

Over the past year within the AE Senior Thesis program I have gained valuable experience in the design and construction process. I appreciate being able to examine construction documents to perform investigations on building systems. I was also able to perform multiple analyses for the implementation of alternate system in the current building.

I enjoy working on a single project, while understanding its intricate details to perfect its overall performance. Being able to manage my own schedule during the semester enabled me to focus the components of the building that related to my depth of study. Having to work independently on large system redesign has utilized my educational knowledge adequately and prepared me for tasks that I will come across within my engineering career.

CPEP Reflection

The CPEP webpage provided me with the opportunity to learn how to design, maintain, and manage a 'work-in-progress' webpage. The CPEP program also allowed us to access and share work that has been completed. The previous websites that have been completed are valuable tools for current students to learn what other students have done in the past. I have used the discussion board a several times during the thesis project to check my data.
