The main depth of this report consisted of analyzing two systems after the building was relocated to San Diego, California. One fixed base one way system with special concrete shear walls and intermediate moment frames. One isolated base with the same lateral system mentioned above. The purpose of the two designs was to compare how one conventional system performs versus a high tech system. Also, they were both required to meet S-5 and S-3 rating from ASCE 41-06.

Also Included are two breadths consisting of a construction management breadth and a sustainability viability study. The construction breadth focused on cost and schedule of the redesigns system in order to compare and rate the systems. The sustainability breadth focused on the feasibility of switching to an integrated photovoltaic curtain wall.
