Technical Assignment I has opened the doors to what Towson Tiger Arena is and the basics of cost and schedule durations. Reading through Tech I you will find a summary analysis of the overall cost and schedule used on Tiger Arena. In addition to this, you will find local conditions and site planning infomation, a project delivery and staffing plan, and background information on Towson University. Lastly, Tech I contains a summary description of the building systems used; such as facade, superstructure, foundations, and MEPF Systems.
Technical Assignment II focuses on an investigation and analysis of Towson Tiger Arena's cost and schedule. Reading through Tech II you will find investigations into the structural system, general conditions, and the project schedule. A detailed schedule and sequence analysis for the arena is also within Tech II. This technical analysis helps you better understand the project schedule and sequencing, which will aid in the completion of future technical analysis and research.
Technical Assignment III identifies and highlights potential research areas within Towson Tiger Arena’s design and construction. The information within this report was assembled through conversation with the Gilbane Project team and my summer experience on the jobsite. This process has led me to locate constructability challenges, schedule risks, value engineering items, and LEED implementation information.
