Jimmy Weaver

Jimmy Weaver, from Glen Rock, Pennsylvania, is a fifth year Architectural Engineering major specializing in the Mechanical Option. He will graduate in May 2015 with his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Architectural Engineering. In October of 2013, he passed the FE Exam and will receive E.I.T status upon graduation. In 2014 he received the Cannon Design award for Outstanding Performance in the Mechanical 4th Year Class.

Jimmy plans on working for Burdette, Koehler, Murphy & Associates in Baltimore, MD after graduation, where he interned in the summer of 2014. He also has two summers experience interning for RMF Engineering in York, PA. Jimmy studied abroad in Rome, Italy in the summer of 2013 and will receive a minor in Architectural Studies.

During his time at Penn State Jimmy has been involved with Penn State’s student chapter of ASHRAE and the Student Society of Architectural Engineers. Jimmy has also acted as the Grader and Teaching Assistant for AE 309: Architectural Acoustics. He has also participated in THON, Penn State’s IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, as an OPPerations Committee Member for two years.
