Student Bio

Joshua Lange has completed the 5th year curriculum of Penn State’s Architectural Engineering Program. He will graduate in May 2016 with a Bachelor/Master of Architectural Engineering with a focus in lighting and electrical systems. Joshua is a member of various student and professional groups including AES (Audio Engineering Society), ASA (Acoustical Society of America), and IES (Illuminating Engineering Society).

For the summer of 2015 Joshua is excited to be an electrical intern at Barton Associates. The summer of 2014 Joshua was an electrical intern at H.F. Lenz Company. The summer before he was an intern for a project manager at Penn State’s Office of the Physical Plant. These opportunities exposed him to two very different components of the construction industry. After he graduates, Joshua is considering continuing his formal education by pursuing a graduate degree. After his formal education is finished he would like to work as an electrical systems designer. In the long term, Joshua is looking forward to obtaining his Professional Engineer (PE) license and having a family.

Other than school activities Joshua enjoys working with A/V systems particularly at his church and being involved in various social and service projects with Assembly of God Chi Alpha.
