Welcome to Kevin's AE Senior Thesis e-Portfolio
Final Report
This repots covers information researched and developed over the past semester of work. It includes descriptions of the existing building conditions, general architecture, and other building systems. The problem of reducing the buildings height by ten feet is answered by designing a post-tensioned concrete structure. Econimics of both projects are then compared to determine if the the project economics of both buildings are similar.. Also included are investigations into acoustical and lighting design changes that would occur when the ceiling heights were lowered.
