Note: While great efforts have been taken to provide accurate and complete information on the pages of CPEP, please be aware that the information contained herewith is considered a work-in-progress for this thesis project. Modifications and changes related to the original building designs and construction methodologies for this senior thesis project are solely the interpretation of Ashley Bradford. Changes and discrepancies in no way imply that the original design contained errors or was flawed. Differing assumptions, code references, requirements, and methodologies have been incorporated into this thesis project; therefore, investigation results may vary from the original design.

AE 481W and AE 482 Reflection

The AE Senior Thesis project was one of the biggest challenges I have faced as a student. I was forced to think out of the box, ask questions, and tap into resources I never knew I had access to. Undergoing such a challenge has shaped me into a better engineer, as I am even more equipped to enter the profession and deal with real world situations. Although it was not fun at times, I am grateful for the experience I had this past year and recognize that it was invaluable to my growth as an architectural engineer.

CPEP Discussion Board Reflection

The CPEP Discussion Board was a valuable part of AE Senior Thesis. It was great to interact with others from our industry who have the kind of experience that students need to draw from. Our mentors were more than willing to help and often went out of their way to provide advice or suggestions to students. Without these mentors, I think that our projects would be lacking in terms of professionalism and realism. Thank you to all of the CPEP Discussion Board mentors!
