Bio-Sketch

Eric Foster has been interested in the fields of architecture and construction from a very young age.  Following his interests, Eric eventually earned a 2-year Associates degree specialized in Architectural Computer Aided Drafting and Design Technology.  After gaining nearly four years of experience, Mr. Foster decided to expand his knowledge in the field of engineering to help further his career.  Eric is currently finishing studies in the field of Architectural Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University.  Upon successful completion of his studies in May 2009, Eric will receive an ABET-accredited, Bachelor of Architectural Engineering (B.A.E.) degree with a main focus in structural system engineering.

Since June 2007 Mr. Foster has been working as an intern with Civilsmith Engineering, Inc.; a firm specializing in Architectural Precast Concrete & Structural Precast Concrete engineering located in State College, Pa.  He looks forward to gaining E.I.T. status upon graduation and successful completion of the FE exam, and plans to continue practicing and gaining knowledge with Civilsmith while working toward licensure as a practicing, professional engineer (PE).

            In his spare time, Eric is an avid golfer and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

 

 

 

 

 

 




 
 

 

 

 

 

 

The Capstone Project Electronic Portfolio (CPEP) is a web-based project and information center. It contains material produced for a year long Senior Thesis class. Its purose, in addition to providing central storage of individual assignments, is to foster communication and collaboration between student, faculty consultant, course instructors, and industry consultants. This website is dedicated to the research and analysis conducted via guidelines provided by the Department of Architectural Engineering.
