`Student Bio

Scott Davis is a 5th year Architectural Engineering student at The Pennsylvania State University.  He is focusing on the mechanical discipline and will be graduating with a B.A.E. in May of 2008. He is also eligible to obtain his EIT status upon graduation as he passed the FE exam in April of 2007.  He was born and raised in Daly City, CA.

Over the past few summers, he has gained experience both behind a computer and on the job site.  This past summer (2007) he had an internship with Western Allied Mechanical in Menlo Park, CA. While there, he was exposed to many aspects of the construction and engineering industry. The experience gained while working there was invaluable, and he is extremely grateful for everyone’s willingness to help him and give him the opportunity to apply things learned in school as well as continue to learn even more.

In his free time he likes to listen to music, play video games, and do anything related to his biggest passion: hockey.  When at home, he coaches the inhouse youth hockey program at the Yerba Buena Ice Skating Center in San Francisco, CA.  Not only is being on the ice enjoyable, but so is passing on his knowledge and love of the game to a brand new generation of hockey players.  He has been volunteering there since his senior year of high school and plans to do so for as long as he is able to.

He is looking for a mechanical position at an AE firm to start his career upon graduation. Despite being born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, he isn’t limiting his search to any specific region of the country.
