Jonathan Walker is a fifth year Architectural Engineering major at Penn State University.  He will graduate in May 2009 with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering, specializing in the Lighting/Electrical Option.  Jonathan has passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.  Jonathan is a member of the Illumination Engineering Society and former president of Campus Bible Fellowship.  He is a member of Faith Baptist Church, where he enjoys serving on various committees including the Building Committee and Missions Committee.

Jonathan gained valuable experience in his various summer internships.  He practiced 3D modeling and visualization techniques while working for Penn State Facilities Engineering Institute, his first internship.  His past two internships were with Reese Engineering and Clark Nexsen, where he learned about lighting and electrical design.

Jonathan was born in Southbridge, MA, but moved to State College, PA in 1990.  While in high school, his coursework included drafting, video media and computer graphics.  These courses taught him various methods for presenting ideas.  Combined with his interests in math and physics, this gave him a foundation for his pursuit to become an Architectural Engineer.
