AE 481W & AE 882 Reflection

The senior thesis offered in The Architectural Engineering Department at The Pennsylvania State University is a one of a kind experience. It incorporates the education a student recieved in the five year program with the professional ethics and project orginazation to the building the student used as their senior thesis. Each student is exposed to the real engineering problems and soluitions throughout their thesis, which in returns makes them more prepared for the dail and life long challenges of being an engineer. After going through the senior thesis criteria, I have a better grasp on the strucutral anaylsis of a building as well as the other options within the AE department.

CPEP Discussion Board Reflection

The CPEP Discussion Board is an invaluable resource for students. The ability to have access to practicing professionals anytime is very incredible. The response by the profession was second to none, especially given their hectic schedules. The knowledge gained by reading their responses to students' questions, questions some many never have thought of, is extremely helpful in aiding students progression as engineers.
