Biographical Information and Resume

Kimberlee is currently a fifth year student in the Architectural Engineering Program at the Pennsylvania State University.  She chose to complete her integrated Bachelors/Masters degree with a focus in structures, while obtaining a minor in Engineering Mechanics.  Kim is an active member of many campus clubs and activities including the Structural Engineers Association of which she is treasurer and Phi Alpha Epsilon, the Architectural Engineering Honors Society.  She also participates in the structures laboratory research.

During the past four summers, Kim has participated in engineering internships.  Her most interesting experiences were with Oncore Construction, where she was a project management intern and Wiss, Janney, Elstner, where she participated in forensics engineering activities.  Kim has also passed the FE exam and will obtain an EIT certificate upon completion of her degree.  These accomplishments and experiences have been helping prepare her for a career in structural engineering and she looks forward to the future.

Kim is also a member of the Engineering Internship Envoys.  These are students who have completed internships for credit through the engineering internship office and then have decided to guide other students through the internship experience.  She takes this position very seriously and always takes time during her semester to talk to other engineering students who are seeking help from the internship office.  She advises them on attending career fairs, obtaining internships, and helping shape their own personal career paths.  She values this experience as a way to help others, while honing her own networking skills.
