As an intern with Azri Architects in the past summer, he was involved in the design process of many projects including the new radio stations in different cities of Oman. Samir also worked on different residential projects while gaining great experience in using AutoCAD as a design tool. Furthermore, he was able to gain some experience in the surveying field by working on various surveying projects.
Samir was awarded a full scholarship from the ministry of higher education and also obtained the Bronze award in The Duke o f Edinburgh’s Award (2002-2003). His hobbies include travelling, soccer and water sports. Samir is planning to practice engineering in the Sultanate of Oman in order to help in its development and as a way to give back for the lifetime opportunity that was presented to him.
