AE 481W / AE 482 Reflection

During the fall semester, I felt that analyzing a building in depth allowed me to apply many of the things that I have learned throughout my architectural engineering classes and internships to a real life project.  This provided me with a practical example of what I will be doing in the real world thus giving me experience in analyzing a building.
During the spring semester, I re-designed the current mechanical system.  This allowed me to obtain experience in newer more energy efficient mechanical systems which should help my professional career.

CPEP Reflection

The CPEP website was beneficial to the project in several ways.  It allows the faculty, specifically my consultant, to access my work at any time in order to facilitate grading.  It also allows industry professionals and future employers to readily obtain a sample of my work.  The website also allows me to readily access work I completed from pretty much anywhere.  Thus, I felt that the CPEP was a necessary part of senior thesis.
