[Patrick Vogel]

Construction.

Patrick Vogel is in his fifth year of studies in Architectural Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University. He will be graduating in May 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering with a focus in Construction.

Patrick has gained valuable experience in the construction industry through summer internships. One summer he interned at the Penn State Facilities of Engineering Institute (PSFEI) where he provided building assessments for existing facilities analyzing the existing lighting, mechanical and structural systems. He also provided estimates of these facilities and modeled them in Autodesk Revit. Another summer, Patrick worked for a customs broker where he was able to learn about the business industry which has given him a better understanding on the financial side to a business.

Patrick is also involved in many activities and organizations at Penn State, including the Student Society of Architectural Engineers (SSAE), the Student Chapter of the Partnership for Achieving Construction Excellence (S:PACE) and USGBC Penn State Chapter. Patrick has contributed greatly to Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon (THON) which is a 46 hour dance marathon to help raise money to fight pediatric cancer. He has served on numerous committees as well as danced in THON 2013.

In his free time, Patrick enjoys traveling, playing sports and hanging out with his friends.
