P. Scott Eckert is a fifth year senior at The Pennsylvania State University studying Architectural Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering. Scott will be graduation in May 2014 and upon doing so will obtain EIT status. He is one of two structural engineers for team Apollo, which is participating in the AEI Charles Pankow Foundation Annual Architectural Engineering Student Design Competition. During the summer of 2013 Scott interned with Conn Shaffer Consulting Engineers.

During this time he used the knowledge gained from the AE program to preform duties such as; AutoCAD work, Modeling in RAM, Review of shop drawings and different design work. During the 2012-2013 school year he served as the treasurer for The Penn State Structural Engineers Association. In this role he organized funds and helped to organize professional outreach events such as hosting guest lecturers.

Scott enjoys reading, playing and watching sports, and is a fan of the cinema. He also participated in the AE study abroad in China.
