This electronic portfolio documents Adam Kroll's thesis work conducted at Pennsylvania State University's Architectural Engineering program during 2007 and 2008. The year-long project focuses on the building systems of New York Law School's New Community Facility in New York City.

This particular project primarily addresses the building's lighting and electrical systems. The existing designs are analyzed, and hypothetical changes and improvements are formulated.

About the Building:

The New Community Facility consolidates the functions of various existing New York Law School structures. The building will house a library, an auditorium, dining areas, student gathering areas, a roof terrace, classrooms, administrative offices, and a large multi-purpose space.

About CPEP:

The Capstone Project Electronic Portfolio (CPEP) is a web-based project and information center. It contains material produced for a year-long Senior Thesis class. Its purpose, in addition to providing central storage of individual assignments, is to foster communication and collaboration between student, faculty consultant, course instructors, and industry consultants. This website is dedicated to the research and analysis conducted via guidelines provided by the Penn State Department of Architectural Engineering.
