Student Biography

Allen Walker is currently a 5th year senior in Architectural Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering (B.A.E) with specialization in lighting and electrical design. Upon his graduation in May 2008, Allen will receive his certification to become an Engineering in Training (E.I.T.).

After interning at Girard Engineering (summer of 2006) and Mueller Associates (summer of 2007), Allen has gained a vast and broad knowledge in Electrical design including but not limited to cost estimating, load calculations, fire protection design, field surveys and lighting design. Allen has been an active member for the Penn State Chapter of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) for the past two years.

When Allen is not busy with school work, he lives an active life as a member of Penn State’s competitive bowling team and  as an active member of the Racquetball club. With aspirations of the bowling team qualifying for the NCAA National Championships this April, this year will be an exciting time for Allen professionally and personally.
