Technical Assignment 1 (pdf)

Technical Assignment 1 addresses with the construction project management issues for the Baltimore Washington Medical Center- Women’s Center and Inpatient Tower.  The assignment includes a project summary schedule, a building systems summary, a project cost evaluation, a site plan showing the existing conditions of the site, the local conditions for the area, a description of the owner, the project delivery schedule, and the staffing plan for the project. Each of the areas listed above were analyzed to gain a better understanding of the management for this project.

 

Technical Assignment 2 (pdf)

Technical Assignment 2 addresses with the cost and methods analysis for the Baltimore Washington Medical Center- Women’s Center and Inpatient Tower.  The assignment includes a detailed project schedule, a site layout plan for the superstructure phase , an exterior facade assemblies estimate, a detailed structural systems estimate, and a general conditions estimate. Each of the areas listed above were analyzed to gain a better understanding of the costs and methods associated with the construction process for this project.

Technical Assignment 3 addresses alternative methods and research for the Baltimore Washington Medical Center- Women’s Center and Inpatient Tower.  The assignment includes critical industry issues, a critical issues research method, problem identification, technical analysis methods, and weight matrix. Each of the areas listed above were investigated in order to develop of strong focus for the thesis proposal.
