REFLECTION

AE 481W and AE482 Reflection

Through this Senior Thesis my competence within the field of Architectural Engineering grew exponentially. It gave me the opportunity to practice design on real world applications in a controlled setting. It required me to use knowledge obtained from my previous years of schooling, as well as perform independent studies. One of the greatest achievements I take from experience is an improved understanding structural response to various loading conditions and being able to design for them in accordance with appropriate design codes. I feel this Senior Thesis has prepared me to enter the work force with the ability to become competent and well rounded structural engineer.

CPEP Deiscussion Board Reflection

The CPEP discussion board was a great way for students to interact with design professionals. It provided an efficient way for students to pose questions regarding their Senior Thesis. It also allowed for questions to be targeted towards professionals with the greatest expertise within the given area of question. Thank you to all design professionals whom took part in the discussion board.
