Tyler E. Graybill

Tyler Graybill will be entering into his 11th and final semester of study in the Architectural Engineering Program at Penn State University this fall. In December of 2010, he will graduate with both a Bachelor and Master of Architectural Engineering, with an emphasis in structures. At Penn State, Tyler is a member of the AE honor society Phi Alpha Epsilon. He was the recipient of the Outstanding Record of Study in the Structures Option AE Class award, as well as the DeSimone Consulting Engineers scholarship. Outside the classroom, Tyler is an active volunteer with Penn State’s Habitat for Humanity chapter.

Tyler spent the summer of 2009 interning with DeSimone Consulting Engineers in New York City. Previous summers have found him as an intern with James G. Davis Construction Corporation -a general contractor in the Washington D.C. area - and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. He will be interning with Jacobs Engineering over the upcoming summer in their Arlington, VA structural design office. Tyler will gain EIT status upon graduation and hopes to continue the life-long learning process that is engineering as a practicing structural engineer.
