Julia Broskey is in her 5th year of study in the Architectural Engineering Program at The Pennsylvania State University. In May of 2012, she will graduate with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree, with a focus in mechanical systems. Miss Broskey is a member of the Women in Engineering student organization.
During the past three summers, Julia has participated in a few different internships. They in clued a mechanical internship with the AE firm, Burt Hill; an internship with Walt Disney World® Resorts; and two internships with Management Sciences Associates, Inc. These internships have provided her with a wide range of experiences including valuable mechanical design skills, including code research, submittal review and computerized load calculations; customer service skills; and vast problem solving skills.
Julia plans on taking the FE Exam this upcoming spring with the intent of obtaining a PE license. Outside of academics, Julia enjoys participating in musical performances, completing crafts and teaching others.
