Reflection |
The Architectural Engineering Senior Thesis course was a challenging endeavor which both solidified the knowledge that I have obtained in my college education, as well as provided an incite on what lies ahead in my professional career. The project was significantly more interesting to me based on the previous experience I had received by using a project that I had interned on. I was able to come into the school year with a vast amount of knowledge about my Thesis building. This head start allowed me to better understand the different aspects of a project, and allowed for a more in-depth thesis analysis to be done in the spring semester. Each of the depths and breathes in the final thesis project dealt with issues that I ran into in my day-to-day job while on the Department of Interior Modernization Project. Rather than developing a PV system just to demonstrate my knowledge, I was able to implement a system that had actual relevance to this specific project. For these benefits, I am grateful that I was able to use this project for my thesis report, and I would recommend that more students do the same. |
