VINCENT A. ROSSI - CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT OPTION |
Student Biography
About Vincent: Vincent Rossi is currently in his 5th year of study in the Architectural Engineering Program at Penn State University. In May 2013, he will graduate with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree, with a focus in construction management. While at Penn State Vincent has become involved in various student groups including the Student Society of Architectural Engineers, the Student Chapter of the Partnership for Achieving Construction Excellence, and the Penn State Ski Team. Also, Vincent passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam in the spring of 2012 and will gain Engineer in Training status upon graduation. During the past three summers, Vincent has had internships in the construction industry; both in the office and in the field. Two of these internships were at Jendoco Construction Corporation, a Pittsburgh based general contractor. Here, Vincent worked as a project management intern for one summer and as an estimating intern for the other. During the other summer Vincent worked for Penn State Office of the Physical Plant Renovation Services as an on-site construction assistant for the renovation of Penn State’s Office of Judicial Affairs. These internships have given Vincent valuable experience and insight into the many aspects of the construction industry. Vincent is looking forward to his May 2013 graduation, and the opportunity to join the construction industry workforce.
