Drawdown R-E-U. Penn State Research Experiences for Undergraduates

Thank you for visiting the Drawdown Scholars Program website. The program is going on hiatus for summer 2024, so we are not currently accepting applications. Please check back for updates about future Drawdown opportunities at Penn State.

Eligibility

The program is open to undergraduate students in any major who are interested in supporting Drawdown’s mission to reverse global warming. Every voice must be heard to ensure the Drawdown solutions succeed. Students from every discipline are encouraged to apply.

All participants must be citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. or U.S. territories, unless you are a Penn State student. All students must be at least 18 years of age. Students graduating before the Fall 2023 semester are ineligible.

U.S. students from groups traditionally underrepresented in STEM, including women, underrepresented minorities, LGBTQ+ students, first-generation college students, individuals with disabilities, and veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.

The full University non-discrimination policy is available online at policy.psu.edu/policies/ad91#B.
