TECH REPORT I

Tech Report I was a study of the existing structural system in the Virginia Advanced Shipbuilduing & Carrier Integration Center. The report details the existing structural as well as loads used to analyze the structure. Spot checks were performed on various structural components to further understand the design.

TECH REPORT II

Tech Report II was a further study of the existing structural system in resistence to gravity loads as well as a comparison to possible alternative structural systems. Three different structural systems were analyzed and compared to each other as well as the existing system.

TECH REPORT III

Tech Report II was a further study of the existing structural system in resistence to lateral loads. The K-braced frame used in the VASCIC was analyzed using an ETABS model as well as hand calculations.
