AE 481W/482 Course Reflection

The senior thesis project was a crucial piece of my education in Architectural Engineering. Prior to this year, I was able to take many classes studying a wide variety of structural engineering topics. The senior thesis project allowed me to connect and relate everything I had learned in previous courses. The ability to work through a complete design, solving problems along the way, was a great learning experience that helped me grow as an engineer. The technical assignments throughout the first semester provided broad, yet helpful guidance, and the design in the second semester was a great experience. This project truly let me see the totality of the design process.

CPEP & Discussion Board Reflection

The CPEP website layouts were incredibly valuable in terms of the organization and presentation of our work for the year. It is also a great resource that is available to friends and family, as well as industry members. Additionally, the Discussion Board was also an exceptionally valuable tool throughout the year. The availability of industry members to answer students' questions throughout the process was incredibly appreciated. I know everyone greatly appreciated the assistance.
