COURSE REFLECTION

AE 481W & AE 482(897G) were rewarding classes in the sense that the work that was completed was based on the time and effort I put forth. The fall semester gave me the ability to learn how to organize and process several items of information for each technical assignment. For the spring semester I was on my own to complete my work which resulted in managing my time well and keeping a consistent effort throughout the entire semester. Both classes were very different from any other classes I have had and have been very helpful in preparing me for my future.

CPEP REFLECTION

Creating the CPEP website was very challenging because I have no prior background on designing a website and writing codes. I do wish I would have been able to do more with my website, but for not having any knowledge I was proud of my work. It is a basic website, so figuring out a good color scheme and good format was the challenge I had to overcome. I like that we had to create a website for public viewing because it is a great way to showcase the work I have done over the past year.

Note: While great efforts have been taken to provide accurate and complete information on the pages of CPEP, please be aware that the information contained herewith is considered a work-in progress for this thesis project. Modifications and changes related to the original building designs and construction methodologies for this senior thesis project are solely the interpretation of Christie Smith. Changes and discrepancies in no way imply that the original design contained errors or was flawed. Differing assumptions, code references, requirements, and methodologies have been incorporated into this thesis project; therefore, investigation results may vary from the original design.
