TECHNICAL ASSIGNMENTS  
 

Technical Assignment I is intended to present the conditions under which 7700 Arlington Blvd. is constructed and the scope of work. This background will provide opportunities and constraints that affect the design and construction process. Sections include: Project Schedule Summary, Building Systems Summary, Project Cost Evaluation, Existing Conditions, Site Layout Planning, Local Conditions, Client Information, Project Delivery System, and Staffing Plan. Technical Assignment II is intended to allow for analysis of the key features for 7700 Arlington Blvd. that affect project execution. Sections include: Detailed Project Schedule, Detailed Structural Systems Estimate, General Conditions Estimate, LEED Evaluation, and Building Information Modeling Use Evaluation. Updated 2/18/12
 

 

Technical Assignment III is intended to identify areas of the project that are good candidates for research, alternative methods, value engineering, and schedule compression for 7700 Arlington Blvd. Sections include: Constructability Challenges, Schedule Acceleration Scenarios, Value Engineering Topics, Critical Industry Issues, Problem Identification and Technical Analysis options.
