AE 481W-AE482W Course Reflection

The Architectural Engineering senior thesis capstone project was a great learning experience in many areas. The most important learning aspect of this course was time management. The self-guidance and time management learned during this course will be very useful for the student when entering the construction industry. Another great aspect of the senior thesis is the opportunity to network with industry members and learn from them about the construction industry. Also, the presentation of the thesis project is good practice of public speaking, which is something that is taught exceptionally in the Architectural Engineering program.

CPEP Reflection

The senior CPEP was a valuable experience in web-design. The student can benefit greatly from the CPEP because it serves as an online tool for potential employers to view the student's college work. Having this portfolio for 6 years after graduation is great for the career development of the student because it reflects the student's achievement during college.
