Student Biography


Alexander Radkoff is in his 5th Year, studying Architectural Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University. In May 2014, he will graduate with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree, with a focus in mechanical systems.
During the past two summers, Alex has participated in mechanical engineering internships with Iams Consulting LLC, an MEP consulting firm based in Pittsburgh, PA. Alex gained valuable knowledge in the fields of building load simulation, mechanical equipment selection, and computer assisted mechanical design while interning with the firm. He hopes to use his two summers of experience as a platform for his professional career after graduation. Alex will be taking the FE exam in early January and will gain EIT status upon graduation in May.
Outside of academics, Alex enjoys cycling, running, and participating in philanthropic organizations. He is the president of Ohana, a 350 member organization benefiting THON, a pediatric cancer fundraising organization. His involvement in Ohana has supplemented his academics and career aspirations through development in leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
