The Thesis Final Report presents the results and findings of a semester-long senior capstone project, based on the topics and work outlined in the Thesis Proposal.

The structural depth involved a lateral force resisting system redesign from braced frames to moment frames for the Office Building. The moment frame system was laid out and proportioned to control drifts due to wind loading. The frame members were then assessed for strength requirements and representative moment connections were designed and detailed.

Breadth study one involved an investigation of a new curtain wall enclosure for the Office Building and an analysis of its performance as the building's primary barrier to the outside environment. Breadth two looked further into the effects of the enclosure redesign on the heating/cooling loads of the bulding as well as its impact on the mechanical systems.
