AE senior thesis has been both a challenging and rewarding experience. It has allowed me to reinforce many of the fundamental concepts and techniques that I have been taught and exposed to over the past five years of the AE curriculum. I was also required to expand my knowledge through independent learning and research. Overall, the senior thesis process was a very successful undertaking and a truly invaluable experience.
The Capstone Project Electronic Portfolio (CPEP) has served as a very convenient means for displaying thesis work and showing project progress throughout the year. Designing a website from scratch and updating it along the way was a new and enriching experience. It was also very advantageous to have access to the thesis work of other students, both past and present, via their individual CPEP sites to see what steps and processes others implemented for their respective projects.
