ABOUT NATHANIEL...

Nathaniel Mooney is in his 5th year at the Penn State Architectural Engineering Program. In May 2013 he will graduate with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree with a focus in mechanical systems. Nathaniel has been involved in multiple clubs and is currently serving as the Event Coordinator for Penn State ASHRAE Student Branch.

Nathaniel has gained experience the past two summers through a mechanical co-op with Bard, Rao + Athanas Consulting Engineers. BR+A provides a number of services to healthcare, research, academic and corporate clients nation wide. In his first year of co-op Nathaniel worked primarily on the New Orleans VA Medical Center, an eight building campus totaling 1.6 million square ft., doing load and energy analysis with Trace. The second year was more focused on working on the Bridgeport Hospital using Revit and AutoCAD to redesign the mechanical room and rooftop cooling towers.

Outside of school Nathaniel is very involved in sports mainly, rugby. Nathaniel played for Penn State Rugby Football Club for multiple years and on the Boston Men’s Rugby summer 7’s team. Both teams compete against other high level rugby programs across the United States.
