Tech Report 2 and Corrections
This technical report contains calculations of gravity loads, wind loads, and seismic loads in accordance with ASCE 7-05. The loads are based on the building's existing conditions. Tech Report 3
This technical report includes detailed gravity checks for the existing structural floor system and typical columns for La Jolla Commons Phase II Office Tower. It also containes the design of three alternate floor systems. Each of these systems are compared based on criteria such as cost, weight, and impact on architecture. Tech Report 4
The following technical report consists of a lateral system analysis study of La Jolla Commons Phase II Office Tower. The building's lateral system was modeled using ETABS 2013 and analyzed for performance under wind and seismic loading. Checks for strength, drift, story drift, overturning and impact on foundations were performed and controlling load combinations were established.
