Cornerstone-to-Capstone Learning

Our “cornerstone-to-capstone” approach gives you hands-on, project-based experiences from your very first year through graduation.

You’ll start with a first-year course that introduces key engineering concepts and challenges you to solve real problems as part of a team. As you move through your program, you’ll take on more advanced projects and courses that build your skills.

In your final year, you’ll work on a “capstone” project—partnering with real companies to solve real-world engineering problems. It’s all designed to help you gain practical experience, grow as a critical thinker, and get ready to take on the future. Learn more »

Research Experiences

Engineering students can jump into research and start making a difference early on. You’ll have the chance to work with professors on exciting projects in areas like renewable energy, sustainable infrastructure, artificial intelligence, biomedical engineering, and more.

By joining a research lab or participating in special programs for undergrads, you’ll build your problem-solving, critical thinking, and technical skills—while getting real, hands-on experience that goes beyond the classroom. Learn more »
