Researcher - Biomedical Engineering

The Hancock Lab in the Department of Biomedical Engineering is seeking to hire a Researcher. The lab investigates motor proteins and the cytoskeleton, using microscopy, biochemical approaches, and computational modeling. For more information, visit our website

This position will play a key role in molecular biology research which includes making plasmids for protein expression, along with general lab duties, and ordering supplies. Additional duties may include recombinant protein expression from bacteria and/or baculovirus. Candidate with experience in cloning, and general molecular biology and biochemistry is preferred.

The position requires a Master's degree or its equivalent in the biological sciences or engineering or be an active candidate for a terminal degree in an academically related field. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from the date of hire with a possibility of refunding.
