Assistant Research Professor, Civil and Environmental Engineering

Position: Assistant Research Professor, (non-tenure-line research faculty)

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering seeks applicants for a full-time Assistant Research Professor. The successful candidate will conduct research on watershed-scale reactive transport modeling and machine learning to understand hydrological and biogeochemical coupling and the future of water quality. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering or related earth and environmental science field. Applicants should also have at least two years of experience as a postdoctoral researcher or equivalent positions. The candidate must have experience in large data analysis, machine learning, or reactive transport modeling, and a proven record of publications in refereed journals. Interested applicants should provide a cover letter of one page or less that summarizes their experience, and Curriculum Vitae that includes all publications.

This is a limited-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with possibility of re-funding.
