Foundation For Your Future Scholarship

Application Deadline:

5/11/2024

Requirements:

High School Senior and College Students

Purpose:

If you want to build something, putting down a strong foundation is the first step--and maybe the most important one of all. Same with your education. If you want a successful career, you need to earn the knowledge and put in the work. We know that, because we’re New York lawyers who deal with lots of construction accidents. Every day, we see what happens when a strong foundation isn’t set. That’s why we want to help you build a strong educational foundation that will last the rest of your life.

Eligibility:

You must be a high school senior on track to graduate or a college student enrolled in an accredited four-year university/college, or currently enrolled in a two-year college and planning to transfer to a four-year university/college upon completion.
You have earned, or will earn your high school diploma this calendar year.
You have maintained a 3.0 or higher GPA.
You are a U.S. Citizen or hold Permanent Residency status. DACA recipients are welcome to apply.
You must complete all entry fields on the application for the scholarship. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. Entries that do not meet the word count requirement will not be considered.

Terms of Award:

A one-time $2,500 non-renewable scholarship to be used for post-secondary education purposes.

The winner’s name will be announced on the Wingate, Russotti, Shapiro & Halperin, LLP website and the firm’s social media sites on September 5th, 2018.
