Purpose:
The Open Door RaiseMe Scholarship is designed to help students earn micro-scholarships toward their Penn State Education by meeting goals that will lay a strong foundation for their future studies as they try to find their place in our academic community.
Eligibility:
Enrolled at a Pennsylvania high school serving low-income areas
OR
schools enrolled in the federal free lunch program, regardless of high school
In High School, have earned points towards micro-scholarships at Penn State by meeting goals, such as "A" level work in classes, perfect attendance, and participation in testing such as the PSAT
Terms of Award:
Up to $4,000
Priority is given to students with the highest level of financial need
