Purpose:
The Copper Club Scholarship Fund is accepting candidates for the 2022-2023school year. The primary purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarships to college or university students who are majoring in Geology or Geophysics; Geo-technical & Environmental Engineering (includes Mining & Civil Engineering); Metallurgical & MaterialsEngineering; Geo-chemical Engineering; Data Analytics for Mining and Engineering; Mineral Economics;or other fields related to the production of copper or copper products. Under the scholarship program, we will award up to $15,000 to students entering either their junior or senior years, or graduate students

Terms of Award:
Once you have chosen an applicant, the student is required to submit these items to the Fund:•Application Entry Form •Current University Transcript (major, minor, GPA and class rankingrequired; required for undergraduate and graduate applicants)•Undergraduate University Transcript (required for Graduate students)•Three Letters of Recommendation•Autobiography (should include involvement in communityand industry interest)•Statement of Financial Need•Resume(should be no more than 2 pages)•Essay onthe Importance of Copper in the 21stCentury(1,200 words or less)

The 2022-23 application period has closed. To inquire about submitting an application for a Copper Club Academic Scholarship, please contact Emily Brochstein. Applicants must be submitted through their school, and scholarships are available to students entering their junior or senior year or graduate school.
