Matt Fogarty is currently in his 5th year of Architectural Engineering at Penn State University. He is pursuing an integrated B.A.E./M.A.E. degree focusing on Lighting and Electrical systems, and will graduate in December 2013. He has successfully completed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam in the spring of 2012, and hopes to acquire his PE in the future.

The Student Society of Architectural Engineering (S.S.A.E) and the student chapter of The Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), provide Matt with an opportunity to be involved and extend his education beyond the classroom. Outside of Architectural Engineering, Matt enjoys working out and participates in intramural flag football, basketball and softball.

As a freshman and sophomore, Matt has had the privilege to intern in an engineering design firm in State College, PA. During the summer of 2011, Matt interned with a general contractor in Washington, DC. Matt enjoyed the summer of 2012 with a lighting design firm based in Philadelphia.
