Nicholas Ramondo

AE 481W/897G Course Reflection:
Completing my senior thesis project as part of an integrated design team provided me with invaluable experience which will facilitate my transition into industry. Working with my classmates from other disciplines helped me to further understand cross-discipline systems integration and its impact on overall building design. Some of the most valuable skills I've enhanced include the ability to communicate professionally, both orally and in writing, and perhaps the most important, the ability to work effectively within a team. I plan to use everything I have learned throughout this course moving forward into my professional career.

CPEP Reflection:
Due to the nature of competition, and for the purposes on anonymity during the AEI Student Competition, our website progress updates were limited until after the competition was completed. I think it is more beneficial for students completing individual thesis since it can be updated as progress is made. Overall, I think the CPEP website was beneficial in terms of organizing and archiving information for documentation purposes, as well as for improving web presence with the inclusion of individual bio sketches.
