Engineering Activities to Grow and Explore (ENGAGE) Summits

The College of Engineering’s ENGAGE Summits bring together faculty, industry professionals and graduate students from across engineering disciplines to explore emerging research, education and workforce trends and topics.

ENGAGE: Digital Engineering Summit

With digital engineering technologies such as Industry 4.0, the Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence advancing at an exponential rate, it is imperative that engineering disciplines take advantage of new opportunities. Literature says nearly 34% of small to mid-sized manufacturing firms report finding the necessary skilled worker to implement and operate digital engineering technologies as a significant barrier. More specifically, half of these firms reported workers lacking technical skills to take advantage of digital engineering technologies.

Join the conversation focused on transforming engineering research, education, and workforce through digital engineering technologies. Attend the ENGAGE: Digital Engineering Summit on Wednesday, May 26.
